Hello, i have got a b650 PG lightning.

I have to upgrade the BIOS because, if i'm not mistaken, my CPU 9600x don't even start with the old BIOS.
Can i flash directly the last version? (3.50)
I ask because i tried exactly that but the result is the solid green light (if i understand right, that means something is wrong).

The "Flash Back" type feature becoming mandatory on AM5, there shouldn't any "bridge" BIOS requirements on any AM5 board. You don't even need a supported CPU to flash BIOS on AM5 systems, after all.

If you're having issues with flash-back process, debug the process, not the BIOS version. Maybe you're using incompatible USB memory stick (e.g. too large of a capacity). Maybe you formatted it incorrectly (e.g. NTFS vs. FAT32).

Thank you for the answer, Eccential!
You were right, i tried with another stick and this time it worked!
I know this seems incredibile but i assure you both had the same size and FAT32; for some reasons the mobo didn't like the first.
Anyway my problem is solved; i assembled the PC and it works!

A last question if i may: if, for some reasons, i have to clear the CMOS the BIOS reverts to the older version?
I think not, buy i'm not so sure...
