Topic: B550M can't set up dual monitorPosted: 03 Dec 2021 at 2:24am |

Hi all. I just bought an Asrock B550M Micro ATX motherboard. It's *supposed* to support dual monitors. After finding other posts about this, my BIOS does NOT have "enable IGPU multi monitor" under "advanced" or anywhere else. Any help would be appreciated since Windows 10 is saying it can't detect a second monitor. I'm running a ryzen 5 5600G CPU that has Radeon graphics and the MoBo has an HDMI and Display Port connector on it. I was running dual monitors before I "upgraded".
Thanks in advance for any help with this |

Dear romdos,
Thank you for the posting. To enable IGPU Multi Monitor, please boot into Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\GFX Configuration to set [iGPU Configuration] to [UMA_AUTO]. Thank you, Best wishes, ASRock TSD |

I got a B550M legend with a AMD Ryzen 7 but it does not have the options mentioned here:
"To enable IGPU Multi Monitor, please boot into Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\GFX Configuration to set [iGPU Configuration] to [UMA_AUTO]?? I am unable to configure a second monitor connected to the display port, but according to the specs, this model supports dual graphic output. Any idea how to get it enabled? |

Hi guest10000. If you are not using an APU then you will not have the option.
With AM4 only CPUs ending in a "G" contain an iGPU. Like the Ryzen 5 3400g etc. If your CPU name does not have a G on the end then you don't have an iGPU to enable. |
