I was just wondering why the extreme4 variant didn?™t get this but every other variant did get it, can anyone tell me the status of the extreme4 version getting it? I really need it before my new graphics card comes in.

My understanding was that 'Fast Boot' didn't use CSM, and since 'Fast Boot' hides the CSM option, it cannot be disabled.

Hi AsRock Team
May you please create a bios update for the the X299M Extreme4?
For some reason the X299 Extreme4 has all the updates while the "M" Version
is still at Bios Ver.1.50

A lot still use the HDET platform from intel since there is no information
about any new CPUS in the near future.

X299 Extreme4 (Has Newer Bios with Rebar) https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/X299%20Extreme4/index.asp#BIOS

X299M Extreme4 (No Rebar Bios)

I have successfully patched the latest bios (1.50) with the rebar enabled on the x299 steel legend, for some strange reason asrock removed the C.A.M feature from the latest bios but had it present in the 1.30g beta version, i do not recommend installing the beta update its very unstable and it keeps resetting itself on every boot. if anyone is interested in modding the bios feel free to reply to this message, thanks

Same mobo, no cam option available. it comes with p1.5 bios already. How did you solve it?

I disabled csm and enabled above 4g encode. Fast boot is not on..

Thank you

It's fine, I replied your other post. Let me know what ASRock responds to your
request.

Hi,

I totally understand your request. Resizable BAR (or C.A.M.) support can really help keep the X299 platform relevant and improve performance in certain workloads. From what I?™ve seen, most of the major vendors are gradually rolling out updates, but unfortunately Asrock hasn?™t officially announced any plans for X299 boards yet.

It might be worth keeping an eye on their support page or reaching out directly to Asrock support ??sometimes beta BIOS updates are released quietly before a full public rollout. Also, checking enthusiast forums or tech communities can help, as users occasionally share unofficial updates or workarounds for enabling Resizable BAR.

Hopefully they consider it soon; it would definitely help extend the usability of the HEDT platform.
