X870E Nova: Ethernet adapter does not appear

   Hello. 

The internet adapter is enabled in BIOS, but it is not shown in device manager, making it impossible to install. 

I have tried:

- Windows 10 and Windows 11

- Bios 3.15, 3.16 and 3.20

- Disconnect PSU for several minutes

-Clear CMOS

For what it's worth, let me say that there is no led on in the internet port, and I have tried with the network cable connected and disconnected. 

Please, help.

	Does anything show up in Device Manager at all, with a ? mark, indicating the device is missing the driver? It might show up in "Network adapters" or in "Other devices." If it shows up there, then it's likely a driver issue, but if it doesn't show up at all, then it's likely a hardware problem.

	Thank you, I had already checked everything you suggested. I have processed the RMA, it seems to be a hardware problem.

	My LAN hardwire Ethernet is connected but the only way I can use my hardwire is if I power down my PC and disconnect my power cable for 45 seconds and then reconnect it. After I turn it back on it detects it. Every time it powers down to sleep mode, I have to repeat the whole process all over again. It's frustrating. I need a solution.

	I have the same issue, the adapter disappears from the OS (Using dual boot of Windows and Fedora Linux, and both cannot see the adapter and Ethernet port LEDs are off as if it is turned off) MB BIOS is updated to latest version (4.43) The issue seems to be related to UEFI, since if I power off the PC totally (unplug the power cable or switch off the power supply) and wait for few seconds until the CMOS LED turns off the Ethernet card will work again. However, after using the device for sometime (~days) it will disappear again, a new BIOS update is needed from ASRock

	Thanks for the info fadvisor. I am sure ASRock tech support will be interested to know that this issue is still occurring even on the latest BIOS version.
