I've tried all the tricks but i just can't seem to get my motherboard to recognize the ssd. I installed it on another pc, it wont let me use it but it at least shows up in the device manager. Had to install winodows this pc using another hdd  in the mean time. Please help!

eddiegzz, so little information - can only guess.  Please post all your specifications in your signature as I have, including versions of your OS and BIOS.  Open your BIOS hit F9 then F10 and see if that helps.  Enjoy, John.

Thanks for the reply John. I updated my signature as you can see. I'll try F9 and then F10.

Didn't work. That just resets the bios settings. I had installed this m.2 on another pc and i couldnt figure out how to get it to work but it did show up on disk management. This is getting very frustrating

The Sata 3 port shares the same bus as the m.2.
Move the Sata connector and it will be recognized.
I had the same problem.

It is in the manual, but I never noticed it until I tried to install an M.2 ssd.

The ultra m.2 slot uses pcie not sata. I plugged it in to the sata m.2 to check if it was just the slot not working but that didn't work either. It just doesnt want to read the m.2 slots. If anyone knows how to force it do so it'd be a great help
