Hi,

In the manual there is a section mentioned that if you are using more then 3 GPU,
you should connect power also to the: 2 x 4pin molex connectors + SATA connector.
Now, I have PSU:

EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 1600W
(https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-p2-1600-x1)

And I have 2 cables there:

(1) Four-Pin Peripheral Cable - it's 3x molex to 6 pin with just 4 connections.
6 pin HW layout (* is active pin, O is empty pin):
O**
**O

(2) SATA / Four-Pin Peripheral Cable - it's 2x molex+1x SATA to 6 pin with just 5 connections
6 pin HW layout (* is active pin, O is empty pin):
***
**O

I saw that people connecting just the 2 molex on the board from the same cable without the SATA.
So my questions are:

1. do I need to connect 2x molex + 1x SATA if I am going to use 8 GPU for instance?
2. If I need to connect just the 2x molex, can I use the cable I have in that PSU like in (1)?
3. If I need to connect both 2x molex & 1x SATA, can I use the cable I have in that PSU like in (2) - means one cable that connect to PSU for 1xSATA AND 2x molex?

THANKS!
Cheers.
