Having a strange problem with my new AB350 Pro4 and Ryzen 2400g. When I power on the machine, I see the Asrock splash with the options to enter UEFI, boot menu, etc. but no matter what keys I press or which USB ports I use or which keyboards I use, there is no response. The caps lock led lights up so i know the keyboard has power. Eventually after a few minutes it times out and takes me to UEFI and the keyboard functions normally. My board came with the Ryzen Desktop 2000 sticker (yay), I think the bios is 4.60.

BTW I also filed a ticket with Asrock, they recommended trying 4.63 so unless anyone here has any ideas I guess I?™ll try that first and report back.

I agree, zhaian.  Lots of users are getting relief with the Beta BIOS.  Please let us hear.  Enjoy, John.

I realized that rather than timing out, my keypresses were getting registered, it was just taking a few minutes to get past the Asrock splash screen.  First reboot after upgrading to 4.63, F2 took me almost instantly to the uefi, subsequent reboots it seems to be taking 5-10 seconds, but much more tolerable now.  Maybe I just need to enable fast boot or something...

Are you using a wireless keyboard?  Mouse?   There are problems with certain USB based wireless kbds not registering when the board comes up with UEFI.  It works fine when Windows takes over, but when running on firmware, especially in USB3 (blue) ports, wireless keyboards aren't working correctly, if at all.

Wired keyboards are working much more reliably.

Quick note:
I am using Logitech keyboard nd mouse, wireless, both controlled by same USB dongle.
Performs perfectly.   I always use low task USB dongles such as these on USB2, I have one near the KB DIN port and always use that. Never tried on USB 3.
2nd note. all USB ports on this board have been fine on all BIOS versions and with the 2400G, I know some have had USB issues.
