Anyone have recommendations for LED strips to use with the X399 Taichi? I found this one which shows ASRock compatibility but not sure if there are others.

Thanks,
Al

Hi @skyace888

(Chinese taobao website)

A good example

Search results of other lights strip examples and choicesï¿?-

Search results of connectors/cables/socket convertors/etc
= https://s.taobao.com/search?q=5050%E7%81%AF%E6%9D%A1%E8%BF%9E%E6%8E%A5%E7%BA%BF&imgfile=&js=1&stats_click=search_radio_all%3A1&initiative_id=staobaoz_20180418&ie=utf8

And no, I did not buy any of it, because my water pump has a built in light, which can be plugged into the mobo header directly.

Then the GPU water block also has lights, which is plugged into the 2nd header.

Both plugs are not 5050 format, but is same to fan type of socket, but the internal spacing is same, wiring layout is same, where 12V+ POSITIVE is on one end edge side mark with a arrow pointing direction, this must go to the mobo's header 12V+, while the other 3 pins of negative power, which are signal for the respective red green blue.

Finally I bought a UV light with a switch at the back of casing for manual on/off

My avatar is UV lights only, without other RGB, where the water pipes are UV type hence the outcome/effect.
