I'm terribly sorry. It apears the ASM1142 USB 3.0/3.1 driver was neglected in being posted to your motherboards Download page(s). Rest assured this will be corrected ASAP.

Below are the needed drivers to enable the ASMedia 3.0/3.1 ports
asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Drivers/All/USB/ASMedia_USB3.1(v1.16.35.1).zip

Please, post back your results after installation.

Dear Tooandrew,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

We did the test with Kingston Data Traveler MicroDuo USB Type-C device under BIOS P7.10 and it can work properly.
The system can detect the device and the transfer speed is normally.

According to your question, we would like to provide some suggestions to verify:

1. Please enter the BIOS setup then press [F9] to load BIOS default setting to try.
And press [F10] to save the setting afterward.

2. Please adjust the below BIOS setting to try.
BIOS > Advanced > USB Configuration > Set [Disabled] or [UEFI setup only]

3. In device manager, please right click on the USB to update automatically under OS.

4. If possible, please use other USB devices to verify.

5. If possible, please re-install the OS for verifying.

If the behavior is still the same, could you share more information about the symptom for us?
Does the system not detect USB devices or the USB speed is not performing well?
Please describe the symptom for us to do further checking.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD
