yes, i rememeber when SSD was failing on my for the first time - i was pretty sure it was motherboard or memory and wouldent think its SSD, because i thought it should be more reliable than HDD... yeah, right..

BTW you might try to make an image from your SSD drive and use it in virtual machine. When the writes fail the OS stops being bootable from the drive, but reads might still work (if accessed purely for reads from OS booted from other drive).

SOLVED!
MY M.2/nvme samsung 980 pro 2tb DRIVE is faulty. I removed it and temp installed windows on a separate drive and it works perfect. Just having the M.2 in it's slot was causing everything to fail.

Thanks I will try this. A friend of mine told me he had similar issue and one of his ram pins was bent so I am going to check this as well.

yes, you can try FW 1.30 as05, as mentioned by mrbill. It is a version with different default memory training options.

Try FW 1.30 as05. That?™s the newest FW that will work for me. ASRock basically ignored my support request for help in fixing their FW and left me vulnerable with this old FW. I have the same MB as you, and it will be the last ASRock product I purchase.
