Have you tried this UEFI setting:
http://asrock.nl/downloadsite/Manual/Z370%20Taichi.pdf 4.6.7 USB Configuration Legacy USB Support Enable or disable Legacy OS Support for USB 2.0 devices. If you encounter USB compatibility issues it is recommended to disable legacy USB support. Select UEFI Setup Only to support USB devices under the UEFI setup and Windows/Linux operating systems only. |

This is a new build with Intel 8700K and 32GB of ram Windows 10. No over clocking..... All of a sudden I lose keyboard and mouse. This has happened numerous times and the only way to gain control back is to do a hard restart. I have tried unplugging and then connecting both keyboard and mouse but nothing helps. I can't check anything because I have no navigation method.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...... Victor
