Hello. I have a AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 6 motherboard and I bought a Samsung 990 Pro nVME drive. No matter what I do, the nVME drive is not being recognized in bios or by disk part. I have tried multiple M.2 slots and in different computers. The 990 is recognized in a different computer.
I have tried updating the BIOS to the latest update and have even tried the beta update as well (P4.30E). The limited support list says I need bios version P4.30G, which I don't know where to find. I have also tried unplugging all SATA cables. Is there some firmware update or something else that I need? I have tried disabling RAID, CSM, TPM, everything. Please help. |

I have the same Motherboard and my 2 TB WD Black SN850X is also not being deteced in bios. This PDF (https://pg.asrock.com/support/qa/Limited%20Support%20SSD%20List.pdf) from Asrock says you need to have the bios version P4.30G which is not available on the official motherboard bios downloads (https://pg.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z390%20Phantom%20Gaming%206/index.asp#BIOS).
Someone in the forum must have a clue where to get this bios version or if it ever actually existed. |

I contacted the ASRock support and they send me this link to the bios version P4.30G.
Here is the link: https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/1151/Z390%20Phantom%20Gaming%206(4.30G)ROM.zip |
