Different PSU not being able to power it up is generally a bad sign, although you didn't mention your CPU cooler and GPU.
Inspect the CPU socket for bent pins. Check mobo for traces of shorted out circuits or other damage. Try booting with CPU, GPU and single stick of RAM; clear CMOS when you shuffle components. If it won't boot then - RMA? |

i have bought a new x399 taichi mobo with 1950x. ram is gskill CL14 16 GB. first time i booted my mobo it booted up with success. while couple minutes of using it shut off itself and haven't been able to boot up since. When i turn my PSU on the blue lights on mobo turn on and RGB on my gskill ram light up but no activity in Dr Mos and no lights in power or reset buttons. when i press the power button the PSU gives a little click but nothing happens.I have tried everything possible. Tried different PSUs. tried removing and shuffling RAM sticks. unplugged fans, replaced SSD but no luck. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
