Generally they'll be listed as "AMD AM4 Socket for 3rd/2nd/1st AMD Ryzen" in the CPU type in the items description .. all AM4 mobos should be 3rd gen ready at this point.

For my new build in the next year or two, Im thinking about joining the Asrock family with the B450M Steel Legend and a Ryzen 3700X.
I know most B450 boards do require an update to the Bios to work with this CPU, but looking at the Bios list for that motherboard, I need atleast Version P2.10 for a 3700X to function. What Bios version ships with the B450M Steel Legend? Is the 3700X pretty much compatible out of the box? |
