SATA Port Numbering

   Hi Folks, I'm putting together a new system and I have a question concerning SATA port numbering on my X399 Falal1ty board.
The manual lists ports 1, 3, 5, & 7 to be on top of ports 2, 4, 6, & 8; but the engraving on the MB is opposite (1, 3, 5, & 7 below 2, 4, 6, & 8). Any ideas as to which is correct?
