When i restart my PC, at the next boot, the Aquantia 10GbE simply does not show anymore in devices list.
I have to restart, and maybe restart once again, to make it reappear. I had this 5 times already in the last 2 months.
Any suggestions?

only happens to me on restarts lets say 25% of the time

a full power down solves the problem

Not good is it. The 10GbE board adds quite a bit of premium to the cost of the mobo and is pretty much the main reason to buy a full-fat professional gaming board in the first place.

Now the usual tech PR tactic of ignoring any issue that cannot be easily remedied is seemingly being employed.

Yeah, i mean i can also use the GbE Intel on the board, since my internet link is also just 1000mbit. But the board wasnt cheap, only 2 months old.

Either way, it seems to be rather a software problem, because when it dissapears, its still there as a hidden device in device manager. But it says, that its not attached to the system, whatever that means.

I wonder if its worth installing the drivers from aquantias site? The one listed on asrocks site seems pretty old.

my daughters Fatal1lity B350 Gaming ITX/ac was getting BSOD's that the error logs pointed to her Intel WiFi mini card .. I went to Intel's site and got their latest driver for it as I had the one from ASRock's site installed .. No more BSOD's .. maybe Aquantia has an updated driver to resolve the issue ..

So there is still no answer from asrock. Do they even have a real support?

Anyways, ive found another topic where asrocks z390 boards have the same problem, with 10gbe overheating and disconnecting. I think that the issue is very similar to mine.

Anyone knows how to remove the plastic cover above the IO? That seems to have helped them solve this.
