Dear Markbolt11,

Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum.

We have checked with the Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S motherboard (BIOS 1.40).
However, we are not able to see the same problem.

ASRock's motherboard utility was able to be installed properly.

Let's try:
-Uninstall the third-party software from the system to see if it will work.
-Restarting the system and re-install the utility again.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

Which third-party software are you referring?

Also my MB is identified as ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S/ac with BIOS at P1.10A.

Also, an uninstall, restart and install did not work.

Dear Markbolt11,

Thanks so much for the pictures.

Since this motherboard is sold by Microcenter, it is required to check with the Microcenter about this.

Kindly contact Microcenter for further assistance.

Is this an ASROCK board? Why do you choose not to support your board?

If I bought this from Amazon, would you support it then?

Dear Markbolt11,

Thanks for the reply.

Any model that is not listed on the ASRock website would an OEM motherboard.
Due to the policy, it is required to contact the OEM vendor first.

With thanks,

Hey buddy I am in the same boat with this Motherboard. I can't seem to update the BIOS via ASRock's website.

Were you able to get this to work?
