B560 Steel Legend WHEA-Logger fatal hardware error

I have a week old system:
B560 Steel Legend
i5-11500
2x8GB Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16.

The board came with 1.40 BIOS, which I successfully updated to 1.50.
No problems so far.

Yesterday, I updated BIOS to 1.70 (flash procedure was successful).
However, in Windows 10 Event Viewer I now get WHEA-Logger fatal hardware error after every (planned) reboot - no BSODs or random reboots so far.

Was there perhaps something wrong with the BIOS Flash procedure, or can this simply be a Windows/BIOS bug.

I'm little concerned since it is described as fatal hardware error, meaning something is about to die.

Which BIOS version do you have...1.70?
On 1.50 there was no such error (although I ran it only for a week)

I just joined this forum as I am getting exactly the same error on my ASUS rog strix b560 motherboard.

System seems stable but quite worrying that there is a fatal error.

I am using crucial BL2K8G32C16U4BL 3200 memory and a 11400 chip.

Yeah mine is the same service as yours. This has got to be something with the b560 chipset as we all have different graphics, storage and memory.

When did you notice the WHEA error ....after installing the nvme drive
(if new) or after updating the BIOS.

In my case almost the whole system was new (board, CPU, RAM and nvme drive), and the errors started only after updating BIOS from 1.50 to 1.70.

I also installed Windows on my old 850 EVO SSD (did not remove the nvme drive - 970 EVO+) and the WHEA error also showed in Windows when booting from SSD.
