I have an X-570 Taichi with 5600G CPU installed. BIOS was updated by flashback direct from as shipped to 4.80, non-incremental. No video signal is going out the HDMI on the board. Dr. Debug shows 00, manual doesn't mention what that means. Cable and monitor were checked on another machine and work fine. Motherboard lights up, fans spin, just no video signal out the HDMI port.

What does Dr Debug display 00 mean?

Should I redo the updates in incremental order?

What are other possibilities for no video signal?

How would I be able to tell if the problem was the board or the CPU?

Code 00     Please check if the CPU is installed correctly and then clear CMOS.
Check your CPU for bent pins.

Checked the CPU, no bent pins, orientation correct. Held in Clear CMOS buttons for 30 seconds each. Still the same, no video detected by the monitor. I'll try re-doing the flashback update.

Turned out to be a faulty 8-pin CPU power cable.

With all the RGB on the board, maybe it would have been a good idea to use a few as power or connection indicators. Dr Debug doesn't do it.
