I have a Z87 Pro4 with 2 x Team DDRIII 2133 4GB RAM which has been working flawlessly for the past 2 years. This week windows crashed and since then I have not been able to run reliably. Experimenting I found that using only 1 RAM stick, I have stable operation, but the RAM must be placed in either of the B banks. Putting a stick only in the A bank will not allow the PC to boot. The RAM sticks are OK as I have tried both RAM and they all work when singly installed. When I have one stick in the B bank and put another stick into the A bank, the PC will boot and operate for about 5 minutes and then freeze and will not restart until I pull out the stick in the A bank. By coincidence, or maybe not, last week Microsoft upgraded me from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and all seemed well. I am currently operating on a single stick, but am worried that the motherboard will now fail completely. Does anyone know of a solution?
