Hello all,
I have an Asustek Z77 Pro3 motherboard with 2 memory slots occupied with Corsair Vengeance LP with 8GB each. The BIOS only recognizes 4GB each. Can you help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance |

Is this a memory upgrade or a new build? If it is an upgrade you can try clearing CMOS and see if that makes the RAM detect correctly as 8gb x2. To get it to run at 1600 you will need to enable XMP in your BIOS.

Hello all, I had a dual monitor setting that made the memory be shared with the the onboard video card, removed it - now it is not shared, enabled XMP and now the memory is at 1600Mh but still just the 8gb out of 16. I also reset the cmos data but nothing changed this. Unfortunately i have still no other pc here able to take this memory to test it in there.
Any further suggestions would be appreciated, Thank you in advance! |
