I am having issues enabling WOL on my motherboard on Linux.
- BIOS 2.10 - I am using Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/s (Realtek RTL8111) - I have enabled PCI Devices Power - I have disabled Deep Sleep - I have enabled wol and magic packet on my network interface
- I have tried multiple tools to try to send MagicPacket (g) to mac address but nothing happens - After sleep/suspend, the network link connection LED on ethernet port is NOT blinking Can someone maybe help me out, I dont know what else I could do. |

You might need to set something specific for your network card.
For the RTL8125 network card i had to install one package. There is something about RTL8111 too. (5.4 Realtek section) https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wake-on-LAN#Realtek Edited by M440 - 14 May 2024 at 9:12pm |

the LED is always off in sleep/suspend for RTL8125
also: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Network_configuration/Ethernet#Realtek_no_link_/_WOL_problem So basically you might want to blacklist module r8169 and load r8168. You might want to set an option for the module.
