I have N68C-UCC am2/am2+ motherboard  with Sempron 145-le and 2gb ddr3 from kingston1333(1600 oc.).Just wonder if i can change the current processor with  AMD Fx 4250(socket AM3+,95w,32nm,vishera)?The mb have support for up 95w processor,45nm and it looks like don't have not even one processor with vishera core in the processor list. I don't have a budget for a AM3+ mb too(yet).I am not aware of computer technologies so i just  wondering if it's technical possible without breaking one of the components. If it will be to buy a new AM3+ mb,what would be your choice from the ASRock. Many thanks!

The simple answer is no, it does not support Vishera or Zambezi so no FX support at all. Trying to install one on that board will almost certainly break something.

You will have to save up a little more for a board and CPU and if you are doing that anyway then I would suggest you wait for AMD's Zen CPUs to be released.

If you need a quick, affordable upgrade then I would recommend picking up a Phenom II x4 or x6 on the cheap. My old Phenom II x4 955BE still runs like a champ and is actually very close to the FX 4xxx series in performance. It will save you quite a bit if you can pick one up second hand and they are leagues faster than the Sempron you are currently using. I would go for a Phenom II x4 with that board to avoid overheating issues on the power circuitry.

That processor is good but unfortunately i can't find him in my country to buy , not in stores and not second hand as well.Stores do not usually bring a wide range of processors and don't know the reasons .I will see what i will find on second hand market. Will make my decision based on price/reviews and delay the purchase of a new computer. Thanks again!
