Just set together a new computer,
MB: Asrock B850 Riptide Wifi CPU: Ryzen 7 9700 And it doesnt start. The leds are lighting up, all the fans are going, except GPU. The red and yellow lights on the MB are lit, so tried to update the flashbios with 3.20 but no change. I had no jumper to short the CMOS, is it hidden somewhere or is it missing? And when I tried to reset the CPU I noticed two pins slightly bent, not next to each other but on two different spots - and I was so careful but didn't look as I placed it it the first time that they were OK from the start. Is it broken then? Can it have been like that from the start? No way to fix? |

I have looked more closely and tried the various tips from this site to correct the pins and noticed that one (at the edge) was bent, that one could be corrected, but one in the middle is completely missing.
The one at the edge I can understand that I may have touched without knowing but the one in the middle I cannot see how I came in contact with it, and to then have removed it? Are there any factory mishaps of this kind, could it have been like this on arrival? |
