Hello, sorry to be speaking with Google Translate.

Does anyone know if there's a BIOS version for the Extreme 6 3.1 that's compatible with TPM 2.0? I can't access the support page from Spain. Sorry and thanks.

I have the same problem as you guys but in version Extreme 6 3.1

Hi!

@rubio

I don't know.

ChatGPT says the Extreme6 BIOS isn't compatible with Extreme6/3.1, but you can modify the latest Extreme6/3.1 BIOS 1.60 to include TPM. You'll have to research how. Maybe ChatGPT can help you. Maybe there's something on the XDA Forums.

If you succeed, come back here and describe how you did it or post a link to the finished BIOS. I think someone else might find it useful.

Good luck.

Hi!

@rubio

This is what ChatGPT told me.

Of course, I can't guarantee anything. I don't even know if ChatGPT is right. You do this entirely at your own risk. I won't accept any complaints, claims, or claims.

Good luck.

I flashed my Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 with 280a and installed a TPM 2.0 module.

I am trying to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (released OCT 2026) to run on this MOBO with a NVIDIA TITAN Black GPU.

Activision has a CODSecureAttestationWizard which returns:

TPM 2.0   Good
Secure Boot   Good
!Attestation Requisite not met
-New key Generation Required or BIOS Firmware Update recommended.

When I generate new key it fails and tells me I need a BIOS Firmware update.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry Valis Video, you are out of luck this time I am afraid. It seems certain
software entities are doing everything they can to render older hardware obsolete.
Now even Ryzen 2000 series are below the cut line. Every time someone comes up with
a workaround, they force new requirements. I am hoping the EU is going to crack
down on this e-waste generation mechanism and ban the practice. I am sure it's
obvious but I find this entire TPM nonsense utterly despicable. There is absolutely
no reason an i7 4790k shouldn't still be able to handle any modern game on the
hardware performance side of things.

Your only option is to either find someone that can hack the BIOS to add the new
keys or learn to do it yourself. Given how long it's been since this issue began
I am going to guess that it isn't something easily done, if it is even possible
at all.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I will see what activision says about it. I am trying to buy the game from them.

Yes, my system was designed for Video and Audio post production so it should be able to handle what COD throws at it, especially since they mention scalability.

They will probably feed you some nonsense about security and how the anti-cheat
requires blah blah to keep players secure from hacking and cheaters. I am hoping
to see some major pushback on this. Anti-cheat is important, there is no denying
that but the way things are going these big publishers are going to start hemorrhaging
players. You are the 11th person this week alone that I have seen looking for
a fix for "unsupported hardware" on various forums and discord channels. That
isn't counting the overlap, you can tell it's the same person on different platforms
by their specs. Every last one of them was complaining about the new COD anti-cheat.

Good luck, give them hell.
