Can we expect an official ASRock response regarding the latest INTEL security breach: "Side Channel Vulnerability Microarchitectural Data Sampling"
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/mds.html

Can users expect an ASRock microcode update for the ASRock mainboards affected, just like we had for this:

Users can read about MDS vulnerability and check their system here:

To check previous INTEL vulnerabilities of Meltdown and Spectre:

Even if such a 'fix' is released you should expect a significant performance impact.

Another option is to disable HT, which brought Macs' performance down 40%.

Basically, it's lose-lose situation. Or camp 'Red' can always have you too, you know?

Really ?!

I know where my money goes, when I'm going to replace my existing ASRock build in the future...:

Asus seems to be more serious about the MDS vulnerabilities of their mainboards, supplying their customers BIOS updates !!!

There have been a lot of BIOS updates to the Asrock 300 series motherboards in the last month and am sure there will be more for older boards like yours in the next few months. I have an 8th gen so am not worried about MDS as it does not apply to me.

Those updates only mention this:
"Update Intel Microcode for Comet Lake 906ED CPU support"

ASRock is acting the same bad way to their customers, as they did with previous Intel ME vulnerability:

And you have bothered to run the mdstool to ensure you are not vulnerable?
My i7 8086K is completely vulnerable, so 8th gen CPU's are vulnerable too.
